GPB Global Resources Co-Hosted Russian-Chad Graduates Meeting
On October 9, 2012, GPB Chad Minerals SARL (GPB Global Resources Group) together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Chad co-hosted the Russian-Chad Graduates Meeting.
The friendship between Russia and Chad dates back decades ago, when thousands of Chadians obtained high education at Soviet universities. Today they are employed in Chad, and work for the benefit of their country’s economy.
“Throughout the years of struggle for independence Russia has always been a good friend of Africa. In our relations we stick to the principles of sovereignty, equality, and non-interference in internal affairs” – said Vladimir Prygin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Chad, opening the event.
Vladimir Shvarts, Director General of GPB Chad Minerals SARL (GPB Global Resources Group), welcomed the guests and noted, that graduates’ education, intercultural experience, and professional skills lay a sustainable foundation for friendship between Russia and Chad and for successful business cooperation.
In 2012 GPB Chad Minerals SARL signed a 5-year License Agreement to prospect for gold on the Ganboke, Massonebare, and Goueigoudoum areas.
